There are two Landlords products available:

- Steadfast Listed Events Landlords Policy

Steadfast Landlords Insurance FAQ’s
1. What is the minimum/maximum rental period for short term rentals?
Short term rentals are periods of less than three months in length as defined in the PDS, with no minimum period.
2. Will IAL insure Air BnB, Stayz or similar properties?
Yes IAL is open to insuring properties advertised/booked via Airbnb, Stayz or other similar websites
3. If the client rents out part of the home they occupy, will IAL insure such properties?
Yes there is an option for “Owner occupied and rented to tenants (short term basis)” where you ordinarily live in your home but rent some or all of your home out for short term periods (less than 3 months) for a total of 6 weeks or more across the year. If rented out for less than 6 weeks across the year please quote on the Home Policy.
If the client lives in their home and rents out part of the home on a long term basis, this can be quoted on our Home Insurance Policy.
4. What is the maximum weekly sum insured rental limit?
IAL will cover any loss of rent equal to the weekly amount as stated on your rental agreement or periodic tenancy agreement, for up to the number of months shown in the relevant PDS (Accidental Damage 24 months or Listed Events 12 months).
For Accidental Damage this is to a maximum of your annual rental income and the amount we will pay will not be greater than double the amount of the sum insured.
For Listed Events this is to a maximum of your annual rental income and the amount we will pay will not be greater than the sum insured shown on your schedule.
5. Will IAL insure Bed and Breakfast properties under the Landlords product?
Bed and Breakfast occupations are outside our IAL appetite
